The audit layer is one band step up, and it is yours to switch on and off. Most schemes run it into submission and turn it off afterwards. You pay for it while you are using it.
The record outlives the scheme
When the active work ends you can keep the record in place, read only, for a small monthly fee. Nothing is deleted because a subscription stopped.
Cancellable any month.
You pay monthly and you can stop whenever you like. Audit is charged only while it is switched on, and most schemes turn it off after submission. When the scheme finishes you can keep the record in place for a small monthly fee instead of losing it.
